Don't
overlook the special little touches when planning your wedding.
Chocolates and candies can be used in a variety of creative ways
to sweeten your wedding reception. When wrapped in foil and netting
of your same colors, the chocolates can be festive and decorative
as well as delicious.
Chocolate
flowers or hearts can be beautifully arranged as table centerpieces.
Following your reception, you may invite your guests to take home
a place of the centerpiece, thus, in your own way, thanking each
guest for sharing the most important day of your life.
White
or dark chocolate nameplates, or mints, engraved with your initials,
arranged at each place setting add a special touch to a dinner
reception.
Another
nice idea is to include chocolates in gift baskets you may send
to friends or relatives who are visiting from out of town. Talk
to your local confectionery about putting together an assortment
of fruits, nuts and candy to send to the hotel where your guests
will be staying.
Giving
each guest at the wedding shower a delicately wrapped chocolate
heart or a set of chocolate wedding bells lets each guest know
how special she is. A delicious chocolate flower or solid heart
makes a wonderful thank you gift for your hostess or bridesmaids
who spent their time planning the shower.
Be
sure to visit your local confectionery well in advance of your
wedding date. This will allow them to customize your confections
into all aspects of your wedding.
